Dozens of meters long and made of composite material, wind turbine blades require care from the moment they are manufactured. Any force concentrated in the wrong place can cause damage that is hard to repair.
Support at the root and along the blade
Blade devices usually work in two areas: the root, where the metal mounting interface is located, and intermediate points, where cradles and supports distribute the weight without deforming the aerodynamic profile.
A family of solutions
Throughout its life cycle, the same blade goes through handling devices at the factory, transport frames, storage structures and lifting tools in the field. Designing these solutions in an integrated way ensures the part is handled with the same care at every stage.
